STORY YOGA with Sirena Andrea
Wednesdays, 12-1 pm
In Story Yoga, Sirena uses the enchantment of fairy tales, myths, and
legends from all over the world as a window into the imagination of
children who are inspired to learn Yoga. During our Yoga class we
practice yoga postures that foster strength, flexibility and
concentration while telling stories that illustrate courage, humor,
hope and authenticity.
Sirena received her early childhood education from the Temba
Elementary Foundation in Marin County. She has taught and created
curricula for multi-aged classrooms using story, movement and sound for
years. She received her Teacher Training in Anusara Yoga and has been
practicing yoga for almost 20 years.
"Sirena's story yoga is a parent's dream come true! I was swept away by her tales of beings who lived in the clouds as we stretched to the sky. Sirena is a kind and gentle leader. She knows how to keep children
engaged with her creative energy and wonderful sense of humor! I highly recommend this wonderful experience as a feast for the soul!" - Jennifer Alexander, mother and small business owner
Homeschoolers register in advance with Sirena: 831-737-7038, otherwise Drop-In is $10.
